KCS allows users to request the deletion of their account and all associated data at any time. Requests are reviewed by KCS before account access is closed.
How to Request Deletion
You can request account deletion directly from the KCS mobile application:
- Open the KCS mobile application.
- Navigate to the Account tab.
- Select “Request account deletion” and confirm your request.

Data That Will Be Deleted
Upon approval of your request, the following data is scheduled for deletion and your account is deactivated:
- User account information (name, email, phone number)
- Membership and professional profile data
- CPD and certification records
- Event registration history
- Activity and usage history
Data Retention Period
After your account is deactivated, your data is retained for up to 30 days before it is permanently purged from our systems. During this period your account remains inaccessible and your data is not used for any purpose. Some data may be retained beyond this period only where required by law or for security purposes.
Deletion Timeline
- On approval — your account is deactivated and you are logged out of all sessions.
- Within 30 days — all associated data is permanently and irreversibly deleted from our systems.
